The enthusiasm of the management team the feeling that you are important, and your opinion is valued. How supportive everyone has been in welcoming me to the team and the caring nature of everyone from support workers to senior management.
What is your experience in your field?
I have worked in Care since the age of 18 starting in Nursing homes doing NVQ then moving on to studying MH nursing, working in Dual Diagnosis house LD/MH. Worked in my last job for 16 years managing MH respites and crisis houses. 24 years of experience in the care field.
What do you enjoy in your role?
The positive impact you can have on somebody's life just by listening to them and giving them the skills and self-confidence to meet their desired goals.
What do you like doing when you are not at work?
Love reggae music and like to bake with my daughter. Spending time with family and having banter. Love the Sea it's my happy place!
What’s your surprise skill?
I am good at writing poetry and acting.
